Giuffria was led by keyboard play Greg Giuffria.....Gene Simmons of Kiss fame heard the band and thought they had potential....but hated the band's name as of it course it sounds like a animal from Africa.....He took over the band.....changed the name to House of Lords...booted out the lead singer and they say the rest is history.
