This was a Boy Scout trip to the USS Lexington during the summer of 07. This is the first of three parts presenting the day tour of the aircraft carrier.
MY NOTE: In December 1970, the USS Lexington was anchored in the Boston Harbor in Boston, Mass. The "Lady Lex" and her crew would go out for sea trials for two weeks at a time. I had some close friends that were stationed on the Lex. They gave me a tour. It was awesome! She was a small aircraft carrier, but she was still huge. I was honored to be able to stand on her flight deck.
