The Celtic Harp

This is a simple Video pictures of Heartland Harps "Celtic" Harps set to Ann Haymanns Planxty Cruit. I don't expect you all to dig this video as much as I do but I have a real thing for Celtic Harps. On that note the harps shown are nylon strung folk harps. Ann Heymann's music is played on a wire strung harp which might create some confusion. You won't get that ringing sound from a nylon strung harp. Not to disparage nylon, nylon harps sound lovely too. But wire and nylon (or gut) are very different musical animals. Don't run out and buy a heartland harp if you want to sound like Ann Heymann.
